Eggs are an excellent source of high quality proteins plus they provide many vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B12, riboflavin, vitamin D, folacin and iron. Eggs are one of nature’s most nutrient dense foods.

Omega 3 unsaturated fatty acids (called also vitamin F) is a necessary precondition for the function of the human body and normal physiological processes. Human body does not form Omega 3 itself therefore the unsaturated fatty acids should be received by food.

Hens are fed with special feed which contains rapeseed oil; rapeseed feed additives as well as other oil plant additives, sprouts and oils. As a result eggs contain enlarged volume of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Still Omega eggs and egg products retain all the good qualities characteristic to classical eggs – a perfect proportion of proteins and amino acids, large amount of mineral substances and vitamins.

 

Fat qualitative content has been also improved - amount of saturated fatty acids is reduced and polyunsaturated fatty acid proportion is increased. Comparing to classical eggs Omega 3 fatty acid content is enlarged 3 times.

 

Omega eggs and egg products are a source of unsaturated fatty acid as an alternative for traditional sources as: fish, vegetable and seed oils and nuts. Gastroenterologists accent that unsaturated fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6 provide 40% - 60% energy from the total energy volume in the human body.
